# Trim Whitespace

This feature removes any blank or empty space surrounding an image.

The Whitespace trimming tool is disabled by default, to enable it, go to the plugin settings under *WooCommerce → Smart Image Resize → Settings*.

**Border Size:** Use this option to leave an extra whitespace around image. 

**Tolerance Level**: Increase this to trim away colors that differ slightly from pure-white.
